Cecily knew she wanted to do hair in 8th grade. She’s been a licensed stylist for 14 years, but if we’re being honest, the dream probably started the moment she laid eyes on 90’s Johnny Depp. He, Claudia Schiffer, Keri Russell and Fairuza Balk altered her brain chemistry. These influences can be seen in her artistry today.
A few things you should know about her. She loves Halloween. She hates Alec Baldwin. She thinks beige is sad. Don’t ask her about perms, she’s moved on.
She could happily eat a deli sandwich every day.
Her perfect birthday cake is strawberry with cream cheese icing.
And that’s just scratching the surface.
We’re excited for y’all to get to know Cecily and see the talent she brings to the shop. Cecily’s future at Light & Co is bright. We have a feeling this won’t be our last exciting chapter together.

Today is Barbara’s birthday, which normally means she would be forced to write a long, heartfelt post about herself. She runs our social media accounts and is tired of complimenting herself on the internet. (Hard to believe right?)
