I got to work with this sweet girl. She wanted to try a new hair color and style. It was a little process to get there. She had several different layers of color on her hair. I had to take that out and lift her hair. The ending results were beautiful. She absolutely was in love with it. I used JOICO Blonde Life Bleach and JOICO Blonde Life 20 developer. I used Lumishine Permanent color in 5RR with Lumishine Developer volume 10. I also used JOICO Lumishine Demi 10bv and 9bv with Lumishine Developer 5 volume on her blonde side to tone. I used JOICO Defy Damage shampoo and conditioner on her hair along with JOICO In a flash and Joico Defy Damage deep conditioner. She was amazed at how silky her hair was at the end of color session.

Today I am asking for prayers during the coming days for my sweet best friend Cassidi and her family. Cassidi and me meet when I started working at Wild Rose Salon. We have worked together for 11 years now. Oh boy can I not say God really knew I needed her in my life. I am so very thankful to God that I have her in my life. I can not say enough about Cassidi. Cassidi has been through every storm with me since I have been here in Columbus. We have been through pregnancy, opening of salons, good and bad times together. She has picked me up when I didn’t think I could make another step. My kids look at her as their Aunt Sassy. Last week on Wednesday I got a call from Cassidi about her momma that she was headed to hospital in the ambulance. I asked Cassidi if she was at work. I said I’m coming to you I will drive. I drove with flashing lights to her. We headed to the ER. Little did we know what the week would hold for us. Mrs. Vicki was moved to hospice upstairs in the hospital. My heart broke for her and her family. I knew what the next days would be for them. I knew Cassidi would be there 24/7. I knew I would not leave Cassidi side. I would stay 24/7 with her. We are going through this storm. I wish nobody in this world had to go through these storms. I know we all have to go through them. We can take comfort in knowing Mrs. Vicki is in heaven with our Jesus. It still don’t stop our hearts from hurting or missing them. It is our human and selfish ways. Mrs. Vicki will be miss so much. She was a wonderful, sweet, funny, giving, Christian lady. She was a wonderful friend to many people. She would give great advice. She was a very uplifting lady. Anybody that knew her was very lucky to be a part of her life. I will miss Mrs. Vicki. Please pray with me for her sweet family during this time.
