They look for people searching for new stylists in our community and either tag you to "someone they recommend" or claim they are the stylists that offer that service. They then pretend to work at our salon and reach out to you through your inbox, requesting a deposit for your service. Once you pay the deposit, they give our phone number and address, and you show up for an appointment at our salon with someone who doesn't exist!! DO NOT PAY ANYONE A DEPOSIT that you've only communicated with on social media. DO NOT BELIEVE THEM.
