what a transformation——>
this clients starting point was damaged beyond repair, but her end goal was as bright as possible. Damaged hair + adding bleach is a recipe for disaster, so after an in-depth conversation, we had two options:
1. Cut most of the dead ends off, and blonde easily without overlapping at the ends.
2. Cut only a few inches to save length, but we would not go through with any blonding services today because it would further compromise her hair.
My client chose cutting off most of the dead ends (we left about 2 inches of dead ends so that it wasn’t bob length) and going through with a blonding. After most of the split ends were off, we safely blonded the top portion of her hair, leaving the ends at the bottom untouched, toning to blend at the end. Over time, she will continue getting a little more cut off every few months to tackle the 2 inches of dead still left at the end & prevent further splitting up the hair shaft.
If your hair is damaged, it is safe in my hands. I will never proceed with a service if it is against the integrity of your hair. I’m so grateful for clients who trust me to keep their hair in the healthiest state possible, and for transformations like this to help you feel like your most confident self. 🤍
