Black Maternal Health Week is April 11th-17th and just like last year, I want to honor 3 women who've recently given birth a complimentary hair service. This is for natural hair styling only, no extensions & will include any treatments or cuts they may need. This offer is available all month of April and is first come. As we close out the 2023 year, this is a time to rejoice in our wins, reflect on our lessons (not losses), and focus in on our 2024 goals. This Thursday the African American Male Wellness Agency is hosting their National Discussion event. This is an opportunity for men to come together in a safe space and discuss topics that are impacting them. There will be vendor tables, food, and free health screenings. Adam “Pacman” Jones will be there to share a bit of his story too.

Although this is focused on our men, ladies, there will be a breakout room for us to have our discussion too.

My husband & I are honored to have been apart of the planning process on this and are also two of the facilitators for the breakout rooms. Make time for this FREE event, you’ll be glad you did! **Health screenings, vendors & food begin at 5:30p**

Did you know that Black Maternal Health Week is recognized from April 11th-17th? Now you do! Here at The OMGi Salon, we want to recognize maternal health year long. Starting next week we are offering complimentary services for women who are 4 weeks within their due date or women who are 6 weeks postpartum from giving birth or having experienced pregnancy loss. These are to boost the hair experience you receive while with us.

In honor of Black Maternal Heath Week (April 11-17), we’re offering 4 ladies who are in their postpartum phase (less than 4 months) our “Postpartum Pick Me Up”session throughout the month of April. This service will be 100% free and for natural hair styling like a silk press, two strand twists, etc. or for extension braid styles up to 4 feed-in braids. This service also comes with our hydration & trim treatments along with an essential oil hot towel for relaxation.
