Let me tell you how this place was built.

I'm a third-generation beauty pro. I grew up in the family barbershop, spent 28 years behind the chair as a stylist and barber, rented my own suite, managed other people's shops, and mentored stylists who were just finding their footing. Then I built Second Avenue Suites.

So when a stylist or barber tells me they're nervous about going independent, I don't have to imagine what that feels like. I've been on both sides of the chair.
