Let’s talk smoothing treatments…
✨What is it?
A smoothing treatment is a deep penetrating process that dramatically reduces frizz, creating a much easier and sometimes even effortless style.
✨Who benefits most?
Someone with coarse texture, lots of frizz, or someone with a curl pattern they’d like to enhance or even reduce. Really, anyone can benefit from a smoothing treatment!
✨What’s the process like?
Each brand may have a slightly different process. I use the QiQi Hair Controller, which goes like this:
1 shampoo
2 apply product
3 sit under dryer 30-90 mins
4 rinse slightly, blowdry and flat iron if necessary
That’s it!
✨Where does one start?
Reach out for a consultation. Make sure you explain your expectations to your stylist as best as you can!
(Some smoothing treatments create that glass-like effect. Some still feel like your regular hair, but frizz-less. Some straighten and some don’t. Make sure to be clear with your stylist to optimize your results!)

For this look all we did was a few face framing highlights. The rest? …. EXTENSIONS
Using a combo of full bonds and some little baby bonds higher up, the blend is seamless!

ALL color fades warm…
But if you want your color to last longer, DON’T:
• wash with super hot water
• use shampoos with sulfates or sodium chloride
• blowdry / style without any product
• use hot tools without a good heat protectant
• lay out in direct sunlight without protecting your hair
