What started as simple soap that was kind to my skin has quickly morphed into a project to reduce plastic waste. Making my own moisturizers and balms was easy when I could reuse my old glass jars, but not appropriate to sell. Plastics we're of course the most affordable containers but I just couldn't bring myself to buy 100 chap stick tubes that would get thrown away. It really highlighted to me the amount of plastic waste in my house that I could justify it as only one or two items, but imagine how much plastic that whole company uses to deliver their products!
Sigh... Now I make solid Dish soap that I've found is seriously multi purpose.
