When removing lifting, precision and patience is key! I am very careful to make sure the drill bit is ONLY carving the lifted acrylic. The drill bit NEVER touches the client’s nail bed. I also never stay in one spot too long, this can create friction which creates heat that the client will feel as a burning sensation. Practice this technique on yourself before you start on clients! If done improperly, you can potentially cause severe damage.

If you didn’t catch it, without saying a word I adjusted my client so she was front and center to me and this helped her hand hang straight and directly in front of me. Her wrist wasn’t twisted anymore which allowed me to work easily and more efficiently. I’m also helping prevent carpal tunnel, something I’ve seen take out techs in no time 💔 Sometimes small, gentle gestures get the job done. No rushing or slapping acrylic on over here 🙅🏻‍♀️ ultimately it wastes my time if I’m not careful and precise during application. Foundation really is key 🔑 so if I just slap something on and rush you out of the door, you’ll be back in a week for a repair, then I’m trying to squeeze you into a spot that doesn’t really exist, and now neither of us are happy. Use your time wisely and stop trying to “keep up” with others. Take your own path 💖
