Joeys Barbershop is still using booksy to schedule appointments. The new booking app did not work like we were hoping.

We would like to apologize for any inconvenience and hope this situation smoothed over soon.

Hello, we hope everyone is having a great new year so far!

At the beginning of December the booking app we were using (Genbook) was purchased by a new company called Booksy.

We’re now using the Booksy app to schedule all of our appointments. It’s highly recommended you go through the steps to make an account so that the process is streamlined. Alternatively you can schedule directly through google.

We apologized for the late notice but Joey’s Barbershop will he closed from Wednesday June 12 until Wednesday June 19. Sorry for any inconvenience.

For Thanksgiving week we will be open Monday, Tuesday,and Wednesday. Closed Thursday, Friday,and Saturday. Hope everyone has a Happy Thanksgiving

I will be back in the Barber Shop October 24th. Will only be there half days the 1st week. Then full time the following week. I'm really looking forward to being back. Thank thank you for all the support and compassion.

PSA for everyone who have scheduled and plan on scheduling an appointment. Make sure to check the date that you click on. They seem to be scheduling about a week in advance for the time being and there have been a few mix ups in scheduling.

If anyone has any questions or need help with the new system feel free to call and we will help out as much as possible.

I just wanted to update everyone and let them know the surgery went well with minor complications. All the lymph nodes that were tested came back negative, which means I will not have to undergo chemotherapy or radiation. For now, I am concentrating on resting up and regaining my strength, so I can get back to normal, and back to work. I can't express enough how very blessed I am. I was and still am overwhelmed by the love and support from clients, friends, and family. I’m looking forward to getting back to work. Thank you all.

This will be my last update for a week or so. All I can say is thank you for all the thoughts and prayers. Looks like I will be going home tomorrow morning. It would be later today, But the home health isn't set up yet. Looks like I have made a very speedy recovery so far.

I will be out of the shop for a while. Starting Thursday , we found out that I have esophageal cancer. I have surgery scheduled for Thursday morning. I have a very good feeling about it. In the end it's going to make me a better person. I'm only posting this because I don't want Cody to have to answer a bunch of questions. I like to keep my private affairs to myself and family. Please no comments. A prayer will be all I need.
