I am absolutely heart broken that returning to the salon is not going to be happening until May 4th....or later. I am honestly at a loss for words right now and fighting back tears. Over the next month I will be working on a rescheduling process for anyone who has had an appointment scheduled during this madness.

If you did not already have an appointment set up, are not a regular client, and would like to be put on a list for when I'm able to return, please send a quick message for me to be able to look back on when I can figure out how I'm going to tackle this situation....PLEASE be super patient with me, as I am only one person and this is completely flipping my world upside down.

Thank you for your patience and loyalty in advance. I seriously love you all, and my heart is in pieces that I wont be able to see your faces, give you hugs, share deep special moments with you and touch all your beautiful heads of hair.....this is SO HARD and out of my control. Thanks for all of your support 💜

I encourage EVERYONE to use this time away from society to give your hair a break! See how long you can go without heat styling of any kind, do some at home treatments during your self care routines, absolutely do NOT attempt to make color changes at home (you will only pay for it in the long run and cause further damage). Live in your grease, embrace it and brush that natural oil throughout your head of hair daily. If you've ever wanted to create a routine of washing your hair less...now is the time!!

I am for once, going to practice what I preach 😂 no hot tools, no oxidative color and fully embracing my natural beauty! I hope others will commit also!

To all of my amazing clients....I hate to make this post to inform all of you that I will not be providing any services until further notice. I feel that it is my responsibility to stay home and not put myself and mainly others at risk. Working in an industry that literally requires you to touch people, many objects and surfaces and be within close proximity of guests at all times, it has become a no brainer to close down for at least 2 weeks.

I know I am not alone in this industry to make this decision, and it sure was a tough one to make. However, I do feel a huge sense of relief now that I have committed to self quarantining and social distancing.

As more information arises, and I have a better idea when it will be safely advised for me to return to work I will make that announcement as well.

All guests who were already in my books during this time period will be at top priority to reschedule as soon as I am back. For new potential clients, I apologize, but please expect a longer waiting period as I have a lot of current and loyal guests to accommodate for first.

If anyone has hair questions during the next couple weeks please feel free to reach out and I will do my best to help in any way possible. Please remain calm, stay away from people when possible and always keep the health of yourself and others in mind during this crazy time.

Please consider donating to the fundraiser for the Children's Hospital at Dartmouth (CHaD). These kids have an intense uphill battle and just knowing any contribution to their daily lives truly makes a difference! It's more than just money towards a medical bill....donations can be used for so many things, birthday parties spent in the hospital, resources and supplies for the families with a new diagnosis to tackle, etc. Continental Academie has always done such a great job giving back and I'd like to help them when I can!
