And before anyone panics... she is in GOOD hands!!! We’ve got a plan, we’re taking our time, and we’re going to get her hair back to a healthy, happy place 💕
But this is also why I will forever preach about knowing your limits as a stylist.
Because listen… I get it. A client comes in with a picture, they KNOW what they want, they’re willing to sit there for 8 hours, and they’re saying “I don’t care, just do it.” 😂
But sometimes you have to be the adult in the room and say NOPE!
Not because you don’t know how to do the service. Not because you don’t want their business. But because you know what their hair can realistically handle.
Being a good stylist isn’t just about knowing how to create beautiful hair. It’s knowing when to stop, when to say no, and when to have the uncomfortable conversation BEFORE the hair gets to this point.
And unfortunately, I feel like we’re seeing the consequences of that conversation not happening way too often.
So here we are ... day one 💕
