This is home. This is why we do what we do. Being on this farm, with these animals, with this community is everything.
What’s your favorite thing about life in Big Sky Country?
Dry, cracked hands and feet, meet your match.
Our goat milk body butters are rich, creamy, and made to sink in fast, no greasy residue, just soft, velvety skin.
If your skin tends to run dry or extra sensitive, this one’s worth keeping by the sink or nightstand.
Available in a variety of classic Windrift Hill scents! Which one are you trying next?
Did you know our goats start growing a thicker coat as the days get shorter, well before the cold actually hits? It’s their built-in way of prepping for the season ahead.
We think there’s something to learn from that. As the weather shifts, skin needs a little extra help too. That’s why fall is when we lean hardest on our goat milk lotions and body butters, they lock in the moisture before dry, cracked skin becomes a problem, rather than after.
What is your favorite way to care for your skin in the fall?

The first morning you can see your breath outside, we know it’s time to break out the body butters.
A few of our favorite fall traditions here at Windrift Hill:
🍂 Swapping lightweight lotions for our richer body butters as the air dries out
🍂 Simmering apple c***r on the stove just for the smell of it
🍂 Stocking up on fall favorites like cinnamon spice and harvest apple soap
🍂 Slower mornings with warm coffee and cozy socks
What’s a fall tradition you look forward to every year?
Tell us below, we love hearing how everyone welcomes the season.
🐐 Goat Fact: A goat’s heart rate is normal at 70-135 beats per minute, nearly double a human’s resting rate!
That energy shows up in everything they do, they’re curious, quick, and always on the move around the farm. It’s part of why raising them (and turning their milk into skincare) never feels routine around here.

There’s something about Cinnamon Swirl that feels like coming home. 🏡
We took our classic goat milk base, rich in natural glycerin and gentle on skin, and layered in warm cinnamon for a scent that’s cozy without being overpowering. No synthetic fragrance oils, no shortcuts. Just real ingredients doing what they do best.
Have you tried Cinnamon Swirl yet? Tell us what you think in the comments. 👇

1999 called. It wants you to know goat milk soap was cool before it was cool.
That’s the year Windrift Hill started, back when “natural skincare” wasn’t a trend, it was just Deena trying to solve a real problem for real skin. No marketing team, no influencers, just a goat herd and a lot of trial and error in small batches.
27 years later, the herd’s bigger, the recipes are dialed in, but we’re still doing it the same way: by hand, on our farm, one batch at a time.
Did you know goats have rectangular pupils?
It gives them an incredible field of vision, almost 320 degrees, so they can watch for predators while grazing with their heads down. Wild, right?
Our Nubian goats here at the farmstead put those eyes to good use keeping tabs on us just as much as we keep tabs on them. Every bit of the milk that goes into our soaps and lotions starts with a healthy, happy herd. That’s the whole reason Windrift Hill exists in the first place.
Got a goat question you’ve always wondered about? Drop it below and we might feature it next.
