hi babes! just a quick update—

effective immediately, i will be enforcing a few policies. i’ve gone a long time without implementing them, but with an increase in cancellations, it’s important for me to protect my time & my business.

as much as i love being flexible & understanding (because truly, i get it. life happens. i’m human too), this isn't my hobby. waxing is my passion but it’s also how i make a living.

every appointment i schedule is time reserved just for you. when cancellations happen last minute, it's often too late to fill that spot, which directly impacts my day & my small business.

i completely understand that sometimes schedule adjustments are necessary, so i kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice for any cancellations or rescheduling. i know that emergencies & unexpected situations can happen, & i will always do my best to be fair & understanding when possible.

i appreciate every single one of you & i’m so grateful for your continued support, understanding, & respect for my time. it never goes unnoticed.

bumps after waxing & understanding common wax reactions

not all bumps are the same! after a wax, your skin may react in two common ways:

• folliculitis → tiny white bumps that show up a day or two later, often from bacteria in the follicles
• histamine reaction → redness or hives that appear right away, caused by your body’s natural response

both are normal + temporary, & the right aftercare will help your skin bounce back fast 🫶🏼

here’s what to look for & how to care for your skin:

folliculitis
-looks like small acne breakouts or whiteheads
-caused when bacteria enters the hair follicle (friction, touching, sweat, or moisture)
-usually clears up in a few days
✨ care tip: cleanse with antibacterial soap & use a warm compress. follow aftercare to reduce irritation.

histamine reaction
-appears as tiny red dots, bumps, or welts
-happens when your body releases histamine in response to waxing (like a mini allergic reaction)
-typically goes away within a few hours to a day
✨ care tip: apply cortisone cream if needed to calm the skin.

these reactions are common & temporary! if anything feels off or isn’t improving, don’t hesitate to reach out to a healthcare provider.
