Hi everyone, so it’s been a while since I’ve posted. Maloua my baby has gone undergone a lot, two surgeries. With one more to come but she’s thriving! She’s 5 months now, she’s tiny but mighty!. With that being said I still plan to go virtual very soon! It’s been crazy with doctors visits back and fourth to Houston. So it’s taken me longer than I anticipated to get my website remodeled and for things to go forward with the relaunch! But it’s still coming. I truly appreciate the love and patience ❤️ I’ll see yall soon!!

Maloua is out of surgery.

Dr Olorunnipa, her surgeon came out and spoke with us and said that she did great.
They will keep her on a ventilator tonight until the morning. and will keep her sedated so she can rest and allow all the swelling to go down before they remove her breathing tube.
They also changed plans and decided Maloua will be going to 12mm instead of 9mm.
They will also be adjusting 2mm a day. 1mm in the morning. 1mm at night.
Dr Olorunnipa is planning on her staying for at a minimum of 6 days. In the downtown Houston location, unfortunately… this hospital is ridiculously expensive. The parking is ridiculously priced, the food is overpriced and the NICU setup sucks. I’m NOT a fan of the open floor with no joke 80 something babies in here. For reference we are bed #75.. so it’s loud, crying babies everywhere and just not somewhere you ever wanna be. I couldn’t imagine have been here the entire time.

But Dr. Olorunnipa is hopeful for her and says it might be possible if she’s doing good that she get discharged on Thanksgiving. So prayers for that! I really am ready to be done with this nightmare. Maloua is so tough I’m so proud of her but damn. I never ever want my babies in the hospital ever again.

Please consider continuing to pray for us, for a fast recovery. For us to go home. I want to snuggle my baby at home before the newborn stage is over. I feel so robbed or these precious moments with my rainbow baby. My momma heart has been crushed over and over seeing my little pumpkin go through all this.
