Well I know many have been wondering and questioning about the salon since they put a for lease sign up back in December, but I had a hard time putting into words our next journey. Sometimes I struggle when it's not my plan to get excited about something or find the words to even say. I had prayed for many many months on the salon situation and what I needed to do.

I was running the week of Thanksgiving in greenbrier as they were setting up for Glisten in Greenbrier, and I tripped and fell over cords for the lights. I almost landed on both wrist but I knew I couldn't because I rely on those little jewels every day to work, so I took the hip and shoulder instead 🤣 I was sore for many days, but could still work. I got up and as I limped back to the car with tears streaming down my face all I could say is I see you God. He literally had to knock me on my face to see him. As high as my utilities had been in the salon and being responsible to fix anything that broke I knew it wasn't smart financially to keep up what we have been doing. All I could think of was if i would have broke my wrist and Chase trying to keep everything going while I was off without a income for several weeks. I had to fix the heating and air more times than I can even count all the way up to it needing a new unit, and I couldn't be responsible for that. Thanks to all our clients that suffered through the cold with wet heads! 🤦‍♀️Once again I could see God. In December I found a place but just kept pushing it to the side because I didn't wanna think about it. When we got back from being off for Christmas I have had to call them out 4 different times this month, and I told Jill I feel like God is reassuring me that this is the right decision for us because he is showing me loud and clear.

So all this to say WE HAVE MOVED over the weekend and I can already say we are going to absolutely love it over there. I can feel the weight lifted off my family. Even mom said last night "B I think you're really going to love it here" and as I feel like I'm still missing a huge part of the JBG that I can't ever get back, I needed her to tell me that. I try to keep dad as a part of the salon as much as I can, but it will still never be the same. It doesn't feel real that two years ago Friday we lost the most special part of the JBG. I have dreaded the two year mark. Thank you to everyone that has continued to support us and love us through all the crazy!!

A special shout out to Mike Wilson with Wilson's heating and air for always getting to us as quick as you could, so our clients didnt freeze with wet heads, and going above and beyond. You are truly appreciated. If you need anyone for heat and air know you will always be taken care of I promise!

To our family that always shows up to help make the move or even just load the girls up and take them home so we can get it done as quick as possible. I could never thank you all enough for giving us your time and showing us love.

TO MY HUSBAND that always supports me and loves me even when my anxiety is high and my complete bratty side comes to the surface. He knows what I want and always makes my vision come to life. I love you more than you'll ever know and love that you pour your heart into the salon for me. I know my daddy would be so proud of your work.

We are now located at 930 Wingate Building D suite 3. As I have told clients the last few weeks I have been so shocked at how many people didn't know where this was. It's off of prince street (because you know we will never go very far from prince 🤣 .) If you're coming from the roundabout at Salem it will be the first road on the right before you get to where we were behind taco bell. I am going to post a picture from the road at prince street. It will say Wingate Plaza and the road name. If you have any trouble finding us our phones should be back up and running tomorrow. We look forward to sharing this new journey with you all and I pray this is home for us for many many many years, but I learned to never say forever 😜

I can't believe we have made it to the holiday months already this year. It just seems crazy! I should have posted this week's ago, but I may be a little in denial that we are already to Thanksgiving and Christmas!

We are only 3 weeks out from Thanksgiving and 7 weeks out from Christmas. I have a few appointments next week left before Thanksgiving from clients that have had to reschedule and move around. Please send me a message or a comment if you are needing in. Please don't wait last minute to decide you need a spot that I will most likely not have. Once im full I won't have any more appointments until January 2022. My last day working this year will be December 23rd.

For messages please give me enough time to return your message. This is not my strong suit, but I am currently working hard on it. The amount of messages I get a day is hard for me to get back to everyone right away. All while working hands on and going home to 3 littles. I try to unplug from the Salon when I am around them. So it may take me a few days to return your message, but i promise I will return them as quickly as possible in the order I received them. I am so blessed for each and everyone of you for your business and your friendships!

I also ask if you need to move or cancel your appointment that you do so in a timely manner so I can fill that spot with someone that may be waiting. I promise no one understands more than I that things do come up in life and you may have to cancel last minute. This is a hard time of year to fit all my clients in and do all the extra things that come up with the kids to celebrate this season. I pray you all have a very good holiday season with your loved ones! ❤

I can't believe we have been in our new location 2 months today!! 😳 Time truly goes so fast. We have loved every second in this sweet little house and the way it feels like home to us. We will spend many many years here together! It's amazes me to go back and look at the before and afters so I will share them with you guys as I put more together. Out first is the Shampoo Room! ❤
