Home sweet new home! 🏡 Owning a home was a long-held dream for me. It means everything to finally have a stable place for my family after years of uncertainty. When I was renting with two children, it felt devastating to face housing instability. The last three years were particularly challenging. We lived in extended stays, motels, and several different hotels. I constantly promised my son I would work as hard as possible to give him the space and secure home he deserved. I poured so much effort into this achievement; many people know I attempted to buy a home several times, but the housing market conditions were never favorable. Let's be realistic: how many single mothers ever become homeowners? Very few! It's incredibly difficult, especially when you are the sole financial provider for two children. Despite covering daycare tuition, unexpected expenses, rent, medical bills, and countless other costs strictly on my own, I still managed to become a homeowner. I'm super proud of myself. I am strictly making this post to show others how powerful God is and having faith. This wasn't easy. This was strictly hard work and dedication. Super hard sacrifices was made inorder for me to purchase this home. This took years of savings and hard work not to mention prayer. I'm 28 years old and I am a home owner.
