Ok here we go, I’m not the best at explaining things 😅
We all want to wear our nails as long as we can, because of course we do. Duh. Same, sis. Same. What we have to acknowledge now, is that your apex is VERY VERY important for the strength and balance of your enhancement.
(I’m already losing focus, good thing I’m doing this in my notes app 😅)
My nails aren’t “that” grown out if you’re only going by the new nail creeping out, but from the side SHES GOT A DEATH WISH.
That apex is in the danger zone and if I don’t break it before I get a chance to do them, oh no oh no. Let’s not even think about that.
Just that amount of new growth throws off the balance of your nail, leaving a stress point at a VERY painful place. The edge of your nail bed.
Additionally, using your natural nails will always be stronger than adding tips. Even with meticulous blending, there is still a stress point where your nail ends and the extension begins.
