Today was an incredible day at The Fade Room as we had the privilege of providing free back-to-school haircuts for local students along with a goodie bag of school supplies AND a stuffed animal. All of the children who came through today had smiles SO BIG!

We want to extend our deepest gratitude to every client who donated food throughout the summer and to everyone who contributed cash toward school supplies. Your generosity made this day possible and allowed us to give back to families in our community in a meaningful way.

Thank you for believing in what we do and for helping us make a difference. We are truly blessed to have such an amazing community supporting The Fade Room. Together, we’re making an impact—one family at a time. ❤️✂️

As many of you know, back-to-school season can be stressful for some families.
This year, we’ve already filled our list for free back-to-school haircuts for local kids who need them. We’re grateful to be able to do this, but we’d love to take it one step further.
We’re also collecting nonperishable food items so we can send these kids and their families home with a fresh haircut, a little extra food, and, if possible, some school supplies to help start the school year.
If you’re coming in for an appointment over the next few weeks and would like to help, we’d be so thankful for any canned goods, boxed meals, peanut butter, cereal, or other nonperishable items you’d like to donate.
This post isn’t about recognition—it’s simply an invitation for our amazing community to come together and make a bigger impact. Thank you to everyone who helps us care for these kids. ❤️
