“Massage therapy should be required by law!” A statement I’ve made so many times over the years because I believe it to my core. (Well, maybe not ACTUALLY required by law, but you get the point 😊) If you’ve ever been on the massage table, you know what I’m talking about. If you’ve NEVER been on the massage table, we should talk!

I attended massage therapy school at Georgia Career Institute in McMinnville, TN from August 2009 - August 2010 and I attended nursing school at TCAT Livingston, TN from August 2012 - August 2013. Exceptional programs, wonderful instructors, and I’m thankful for both!

As a massage therapist, I’ve practiced with physical therapists, chiropractors, spas, and independently. As a nurse, I’ve worked in long term care, OB/GYN/birthing center, and primary care settings. All of which have given me a solid foundation and background to provide the best possible care to my clients daily 🧡

Clients I’ve worked with range in age from 7-91. I remember one lady who came to get her very first massage at 84! KUDOS to her!! I work with people experiencing neck and back pain - you know, the usual suspects 😁… some people live a highly stressful life and need to decompress- massage definitely helps accomplish that. Some people want to address headaches, improve circulation, increase range of motion, reduce anxiety and depression. Or sometimes it’s none of those things - and it’s just because 🌸…

Massage truly is for everyone - your particular needs, preferences, and concerns are always taken into consideration …and if I’m not able to provide the kind of care you’re needing, I’m more than happy to refer you to another massage therapist in the area who would be a better fit. It’s ok 😊 …

In the meantime, don’t forget to take some slow, deep breaths throughout the day…. allow those shoulders to drop away from your ears 🙃… wiggle your jaw around a little bit… jump around and shake it off… and when you’re ready, come see me! I’ll be waiting…
