Mirror work is the practice of looking at yourself in a mirror while speaking affirmations, acknowledging your feelings, or simply offering yourself compassion. It’s powerful because it puts you face to face with yourself—both literally and emotionally. Most of us are used to avoiding our reflection, especially when we’re feeling insecure or critical. But when you intentionally meet your own gaze, you create a space to see yourself with fresh eyes, to be kinder to the person looking back. It’s an act of self-acceptance. You’re saying, “I see you, and I’m here with you,” even if the words aren’t perfect or the process feels uncomfortable. Over time, mirror work helps dismantle negative beliefs and replaces them with healthier, more supportive ones. The mirror becomes a tool for connection, where the goal isn’t to “fix” but to embrace who you are. #MirrorWork #SelfLove #TherapyTools #SelfAcceptance #MentalHealthJourney #Healing #TheJigsawCollection
