You may think you’re prepping your skin when doing this but, you’re not. Showering before you’re appointment is the silent spray tan killer.

Showering right before your appointment tan causes :

~ Your body temp to rise
~ Excess moisture in the skin
~ Unleveled PH balance
~ Enlarged pores
~ Soap residue
~ Moisture strip / shaving residue

All above are not ideal for a fresh and flawless application & can also cause

~ Uneven tans
~ Spotted looking tans
~ Streaks
~ Lighter tan development
~ Can cause your tan to look brassy

So when should you shower ? TBH, the night before is preferable. If you absolutely have to make it no later than 5-7 hours prior to your
appointment, don't use soap, don't shave, and use cold water - ice cold!
