Bond Boot Camp was one of those weekends that reminded me exactly why I fell in love with hair extensions in the first place.

I’ve been doing strand-by-strand extensions for 16 years, and somehow I STILL walk away from education feeling inspired, challenged and excited to do things differently.

This time I got to experience it from the other side of the room…helping coach a group of stylists through the tiny details that can completely change their extension work.

The placement. The sectioning. The angles. The consultation. The blending. The why behind what we’re doing instead of just memorizing the steps.

Watching that moment when something finally clicks for another stylist?! 💡 That might be my new favorite thing.

Getting to teach alongside people I respect, learn from them at the same time, laugh entirely too much, make new stylist friends and watch everyone leave more confident than they walked in… THAT is what education should feel like. Ashley Diana Alex King thank you for letting me invite myself and whip everyone into shape. 🫡

I came home exhausted, inspired, and already ready to do it again. 😂🩵

Jamee has photographed me more times than I can count, and I swear I leave every shoot with her feeling a little more confident, a little more powerful, and a lot more obsessed with myself 😂

Today she sat in my chair for her very first set of hair extensions, and getting to give her a little bit of the feeling she’s given me over the years was such a full-circle gratitude moment.

We spent the day bringing her hair goals to life with four different Great Lengths USA shades, completely customized to blend with the dimension already in her natural hair.

The goal wasn’t just “longer hair.” We wanted FULL hair — density through those ends, beautiful movement, seamless color and something that still felt completely like her.

Day 2 of Bond Boot Camp and today we’re getting into all things cold fusion ❄️ 🫶🏼

Yesterday was all about thermal fusion. Bond placement, properly using your tools, getting faster without sacrificing precision, and all the tiny details that take your bonds from good to 🤌🏼

Today I get to teach one of my favorite things: cold fusion extensions. We’re diving into creating beautiful flat bonds, how to customize them, and most importantly, when and why I would choose cold fusion over thermal.

I’ve also been LOVING getting to meet so many of my fellow RSA stylists in person. There’s something so fun about putting a bunch of hair nerds in one room because apparently even after class ends…we just keep doing hair 😂

A group of us stayed up late last night hanging out and doing hair because of course we did.

And somehow I ate The Cowfish twice yesterday, so Charlotte is treating me very well 😂🍣🍔

Not all fusion extensions — or fusion technology — are created equal. 👀
