BUSINESS TIPS — DAY 13/14 Being a business owner means setting the example. Sometimes that means sweeping the floor, vacuuming, mopping, stocking shelves, taking out the trash or doing whatever needs to be done.

Your team is watching how YOU show up.

Leadership isn’t just giving instructions. It’s being willing to roll up your sleeves and demonstrate the standard you expect from everyone else.

Never ask your employees to do something you believe you’re too good to do yourself.

Show up. Set the standard. Lead by example. 💯

TRUST GOD WITH THE BUSINESS 🙏🏽
Some days the sales are good. Some days they’re slow. Some days you question whether you’re making the right decisions. But I’ve learned that entrepreneurship requires more than a business plan, it requires FAITH.

I may not always know how everything is going to work out, but I trust the One who gave me the vision. 🙏🏽

Keep working. Keep praying. Keep learning. Keep showing up. Do your part and trust God with the outcome.

What God has for you will not miss you.

BUSINESS TIPS — DAY 12/14
Listen, working with family and friends can be a blessing… but if yuh nuh set boundaries from EARLY, it can turn into pure confusion! 😂

Just because we’re family doesn’t mean there shouldn’t be expectations.

If you work for the business, there has to be respect, accountability, communication and professionalism.

You can’t come late because “a family.”
You can’t ignore the rules because “we’re friends.”
And I shouldn’t feel guilty for correcting something because I know you personally.

One thing I’m learning in business is that clear boundaries can actually protect the relationship.

Set the expectations from day one. Put responsibilities in writing. Address problems early. And when business hours are over, learn how to leave business AT BUSINESS. Protect the business AND protect the relationship.
