Here’s a little throw back to about 9 years ago when I️ first started cosmetology school.

I️ had no idea what I️ wanted to do with my life or what I️ was doing after high school. I️ started at SCC at 17 years old and ran with it ever since. I️ showed up when I️ didn’t want to and wanted to know EVERYTHING.

I️ learned to love what I️ did and appreciate the art. I️ learned what it meant to do something meaningful with my life.

Being in this field of work does not mean I️ “just do hair”
I️ get to hear about all the highs and lows of every person that sits in my chair. Although it can be some of the heaviest conversations, it can also be the most exciting and rewarding.

Since being in this career, I️ have learned that the most rewarding thing for me is that I️ get to give people the confidence they deserve. 17 year old Rachel for sure didn’t have the confidence in herself that she needed to have. However, I️ wanted that confidence and I️ wasn’t stopping until I️ had it.

Thank you to every single client for having that confidence in me and trusting me through all the years. The ups and downs, the mess ups, the fixes, the off days, and the great days. THANK YOU 🖤
