This was a technically simple repair, but it was almost five feet in the ground - which we dug up ourselves.
Les had major spinal surgery in January, I ruptured a tendon and longitudinally split another tendon in my foot in February and also recently hurt my shoulder catching my transmission as it was falling off of the table it was on.... But we do NOT GIVE UP!!!
This has been one of the hardest years we've had since we met - physically, mentally, emotionally, and financially -, but it has only worked to bring us that much closer, and showed us that we have the strength - together - to overcome any obstacles that come our way 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

MRI is done, so now I just wait for the ordering doctor to call me with the results. I WAS looking forward to a nice and relaxing MRI (loud repetitive noises are incredibly soothing to me) but having to hold still with my foot in their little brace thing made it extremely difficult to stay still through the jolts of pain. For like 30 seconds I felt myself untensing a bit, and then the back of my calf twitched 😱😰💀
I will never forget the woman in the waiting room when I came out of the MRI and was waiting for the cd and was shaking uncontrollably and could not stop the tears from flowing out while I sat as quietly as I could in agony. That God sent woman saw my pure agony and went and asked the nurses to get a wheelchair to bring me across the parking lot back to the Tahoe. I was genuinely STRESSED about having to get back out there because I barely made it inside the first time across. That beautiful soul will forever be remembered for that pure act of kindness and caring 🌺💜🌺💜🌺

As soon as Les gets home we're going to go to his computer and see the MRIs for ourselves and get pictures like I did with my bulging discs and sciatic nerve injury(when they informed me of the arthritis in my spine as well).

We're getting closer to relief 🖤

I must say that I am super proud of our work on this job the last two days 🥰🖤💜 In the master bathroom Les did the entire demo of the original bath tub and surround, replaced the shower valve and fixed the drain that was apparently leaking for a VERY long time because of a loose tub shoe fitting, and under the tee it wasn't even connected at all so that the water was just going into the dirt 😒 After the repairs he installed the new tub and the majority of the surround himself, as well as all of the wood trim that helped to tie that bathroom into the rest of the theme in the house 🤩🤠, and I assisted with the part where the valve is, as well as installed the shower trim(that Les also picked out to match the theme) and caulked - and I'm very proud of my caulking job 😏🥰😁
Yesterday I was BARELY able to replace the shower valve in the other bathroom through a larger hole that I cut into the surround with the large trim plate that is for changing a dual handle valve to a single handle valve for reference to how big I could cut it, instead of having to cut the wall behind the valve, which would have been in the living room 🙄 The customer was totally ok with it being cut open and having an access panel installed if needed, but I REALLY wanted to do it without that, and by the grace of God I did 🥰💜 BARELY 😳😂💜 I even had to put the Propress into the wall to attach the shower arm back to the new valve 😎
It was a bit difficult, but we ROCKED IT!!! 🤩😍🤩😍🤩😍🤩💜💜💙💜💙💜💙😎😎😎😁😁😏😏😏
