If it’s been a little while since we’ve seen you, we wanted to personally share an important update: beginning January 2026, our Mooresville location will be closed permanently as we bring our full focus to our Cornelius salon.

Why the change? With the ongoing road expansion and construction challenges in Mooresville, this is the right time for us to consolidate into one space—so we can keep your experience seamless, consistent, and elevated, with our team together under one roof.

While this isn’t goodbye to Mooresville forever, we are actively exploring future opportunities and will share updates if and when a return makes sense. For now, our focus is on caring for you well, without compromise.

Hey guys! My name is Danyell and I’m the owner and ringleader of all things Groomed Salons LLC!

My hair career started back in 2012, after leaving behind my long term career in the legal field and giving up going to law school. After a small burnout in traditional women’s salons and not finding the right salon home, I opened Groomed in February 2017 with the goal of providing a better experience for my clients, and flexibility to spend time with my family.
I never planned to have anyone else work with me, and definitely never anticipated that the brand would grow into what it is today. I am so incredibly thrilled to provide a place for clients to have a place to unwind and feel like they are family, as well a place to cultivate stylists to grow into their very best. Some of you have now been my family for nearly 10 years, and truly, YOU ARE MY FAMILY. You are the heartbeat to Groomed. All of you.

While my previous career in the legal field allows me to manage the business on the backend, I truly love being able to be behind the chair and share in real life experiences with you. I am forever learning as this brand grows and evolves. I strive every day to hit the ground running so that I can provide the best for you and for our Groomed Team.
when I’m not behind the chair or pouring drinks, you can probably find me out on the lake with my husband, Brian, and our Great Danes, Diesel and Aston.

We cannot wait to see what the future holds for Groomed, and are so happy that you are here for the journey! Thanks for trusting in me, and in this brand. It’s been a crazy fun ride, and I can’t wait to see where the next road and adventure is taking us!
