THE FAMILY
DORIE HORNE - is a owner and founder of Midnite Oils. in Art Education from Western Illinois University. She creates most of the soaps, lotions, massage oils, perfumes, bath gels, hand dyed yarns, and hand knitted items. She also does all of the administrative functions (finance, inventory, ordering, etc. She has always been creative. She loves to create new products that help people and make them feel better. She loves being healthy and using healthy products. She makes candles, lotions, perfume, body sprays, room sprays, massage oils, and soap. BRUCE HORNE - is a consultant for Midnite Oils and Dorie's spouse. He is responsible for product sale to small shops and at "Farmers Markets" in the Portland area. He is also responsible for product shipping. He has recently taken a role in creating some of the perfume scents and is the master creator of "Magic"(muscle relief). ANDY BACHMANN - is Dorie's father (97) and lives with her and Bruce. He is former owner of Overhead Door Company of Portland, OR and has fantastic business and accounting skills. Andy is a stained glass artist practicing his craft for 36 years.

We will be vending some ORGANIC GOODIES at the 56th Annual Gales Creek Strawberry Festival was held on SATURDAY, June 13, 2026. The free, family-friendly event took place in downtown Gales Creek at the Gales Creek Elementary School and Gales Creek Church of God grounds.
