Also, my bob has been upgraded to 20” Sanctum Hair . Which do you prefer?
My favorite kind of client, the inspo doesn’t match the fine, fragile hair in the chair.
Bright, dimensional blonde is one of the most requested looks we see — and one of the hardest to deliver safely on fine, previously color-treated hair. Pushing that much lift on compromised strands isn’t worth the breakage.
So we improvise. We chose bronde babe, honey and golden hour from our full stock Sanctum Hair extension bar to create a custom-blend color right at her appointment — building the brightness and dimension the photo calls for, without asking fragile hair to do something it can’t safely do.
The result: the look she wanted, and the hair health we don’t compromise on.

High lift color vs. bleach: it’s not just about getting lighter — it’s about getting lighter well.
High lift color lifts and tones in one gentle step, protecting your hair’s integrity along the way. Bleach can get you there faster, but often at a cost your strands will feel later.
Hair health is always my first priority. Understanding which product delivers the healthiest result — not just the fastest one — is what guides every formula I choose.
We choose the method that respects your hair, not just your timeline. ✨

Dear Clients,
Ever get home from your appointment and think, “My color looks different here”. It likely does!
Salon lighting, bathroom lighting, your car, your office — they all cast different tones (warm, cool, yellow, blue) that can make your fresh color look brighter, duller, or even a completely different shade than what left the chair. Natural daylight is the most accurate and neutral light source, so it’s always the best way to see your true color.
A few tips for checking your color at home:
•Step outside or near a window with natural light (avoid direct harsh sun)
•Check around midday when daylight is most neutral
•Give your color 24–48 hours to settle before judging tone — color can shift slightly as your hair’s cuticle closes
• Check your lightbulbs, warm soft lighting is always going to reflect warm. Bathroom lighting, especially when there is no window source also can come across very artificially warm.
If something still feels off after checking in natural light, we always want to know! Reach out and we’ll take a look.
Our job is a stylist is to make you happy, educating you on what to expect is the best way 🤍

Hormones. Postpartum shedding. Medications. Genetics. Hair history that’s left its mark. There are a thousand reasons hair doesn’t always cooperate, and none of them are the client’s fault.
Here’s the secret we love sharing: extensions aren’t just about length. They’re a tool — a way to hand clients back their fullness, their confidence, their self.
Stylists — this is exactly why we teach the techniques behind working with these clients. Thinning, density loss, and fragile hair all call for a different approach: careful placement, proper weight distribution, and methods that protect rather than stress the hair. If you want to be the stylist who can say “yes, I can help you” to these clients instead of turning them away, this is where it starts.
Want to learn how to work with these clients confidently? Let’s talk about training.

Just reflecting back on an incredible retreat in San Antonio with my business coach and a room full of high achievers, and I’m reminded why continuing education in this industry can’t stop at technique.
Yes — mastering your craft matters. But building a business that actually sustains you? That takes just as much intention. Mindset, leadership, systems, how you show up as a CEO and not just a stylist — that’s the other half of the work nobody talks about enough.
Grateful for mentors like Britt Seva who push me to grow in both directions. This industry rewards the ones who never stop learning — on the floor and off it.
More to come. 🤍

Not everyone is blessed with long, flowing hair — and that’s okay. 💛
Hormones. Postpartum shedding. Medications. Genetics. Hair history that’s left its mark. There are a thousand reasons hair doesn’t always cooperate, and none of them are your fault.
Here’s the secret we love sharing with our clients: extensions aren’t just about length. They’re a tool — a way to hand you back your fullness, your confidence, your you. Whether it’s density, volume, or just feeling like yourself again, we’re here to help you get there.
You deserve to feel like the best version of you. Let’s talk about what’s possible. ✨

Dear Clients,
There is a system that you may not understand how it works, not confirming your appointment isn’t the same as canceling it. If we don’t hear back, we still hold your spot — which means that time is reserved just for you, and not available to anyone else.
Here’s why that matters: our day is built like a puzzle, with each appointment fitting carefully around the next. When a confirmation goes unanswered and a client doesn’t show, even 15 quiet minutes can throw off the flow. And by the end of the day, those small gaps add up — affecting the stylist, the clients after you, and the overall rhythm we work hard to protect for everyone’s benefit.
Confirming your appointment (even with a quick “yes!”) helps us keep things running smoothly, so every client — including you — gets the time and attention they deserve.
We appreciate you, and we appreciate our time together 🤍

I see it all the time. Talented stylists who can install beautiful-looking extensions, but were never taught why weight distribution matters, or how bead placement affects tension on the follicle over time. It’s not a skill gap because they’re not good — it’s because most of us were never properly trained on the method, just the mechanics.
Clean stitching. Correct weight distribution. Bead placement that works with natural growth instead of against it. This isn’t just technique — it’s the difference between a client whose hair thrives under your hands for years, and one who quietly starts losing density and doesn’t know why.
When you learn the method — really learn it — everything changes. Your retention improves. Your clients trust you more. And you stop worrying every time you clip in a weft.
This is why education isn’t optional in this industry. It’s the whole job.
If you’re ready to install with confidence and actually protect the hair you’re working with, let’s talk. 🤍
