Doing hair and doing your OWN hair are two very different talents, but we’re learning. Progress over perfection ✨

I let AI pick my sister’s hair today… and then I had to actually make it happen 😂🤎

The goal: lived-in, dimensional blonde that felt softer and more natural, without taking her too dark.

We added lowlights for depth, kept some brightness throughout, refreshed that money piece, and toned everything into the prettiest creamy, dimensional blonde.

Not gonna lie… AI might be allowed back in the salon. 😂

A little glimpse into a day at Salt & Vine 🤍🌿

Walking into this space still feels so special. Starting the morning putting everything away, making myself a coffee, and getting ready to welcome the people I love into my chair. ☕️

Today looked like my sister and niece walking through the door, getting to do my niece’s hair, then having my best friend in my chair too. 🥹 These are the little moments that make this season feel so sweet.

And then the not-so-glamorous part 😂 — closing up, disinfecting everything, deep cleaning, sweeping the floors, putting it all back together, and turning the lights off for the day.

I didn’t necessarily dream of owning a salon, but God knew exactly what I needed in this season of life. A space where I can do what I love, take care of my clients, be present for my family, and build something that fits the life He’s given me.

Ending another day tired, grateful, and incredibly blessed. 🤍

Today was my very first day at Salt & Vine. 🤍

Walking through the doors this morning at 9708 SPID, Suite B100, I was overwhelmed with gratitude. But the sweetest part wasn’t seeing the new space—it was seeing my husband there. After months of praying, planning, building furniture, painting, and believing together, we finally got to stand in the place God had been preparing for us.

This business isn’t a testament to what I accomplished. It’s a testimony of God’s faithfulness.

“Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established.” — Proverbs 16:3

Thank you to every client who trusted me with your hair today, to my family for believing in me, and especially to Michael, who has worked beside me every step of the way. I couldn’t be more grateful.

Here’s to new beginnings, faithful obedience, and watching God write a story far better than I ever could.

Every piece of furniture I put together brings tears to my eyes. 🤍

This wasn’t a dream I had my whole life. It was simply the path God opened for our family.

As I’ve spent the last few days building furniture with my little boy beside me, it’s become so clear that this is exactly where I’m supposed to be in this season.

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.” — Proverbs 3:5–6

I’m so thankful for God’s faithfulness and for the peace that comes from following His direction, even when I couldn’t see the whole picture.

I can’t wait to welcome each of you into Salt & Vine. 🌿🤍
