Let's talk about getting dirty! 🤣

Jokes, but now that i have your attention i want to explain a few things about dirty lashes. As a lash artist i have seen it all! Education is key and lash health and safety is always my priority. I do my job in lash application making sure I select the right length, thickness, humidity temperature. You name it I'm doing it to give you the best retention of your lives. 👑

However it works both ways! As you can see below I had this image made up to show you that dirty lashes don't allow the extension to stick to the natural lash however it will stick to the clean lash 😍

So what exactly are dirty lashes?
Make-up, mascara, natural oils, dirt debris, skin build up. Our lashes are designed to help and protect the eye from foreign objects all of the above will fall/stay on the lash line which is why we cleanse in the appointment and why you must cleanss at home.

What can you do?
Listen to your artists, Buy the lash cleanser and cleanse your lashes daily its easy to do in the shower with your brush and cleanser. If you dont cleanse there is risk of build up, lash damge, lash lice, infections 🤢 You must also brush your lashes, don't pick or pull and schedule regular infills!

So do not arrive to your appointment with mascara or left over make-up. It takes us longer to cleanse the area, waterproof mascara will sometimes leaves a film on the lashes which acts as a barrier that the adhesive can not adhere to which means they won't as long. So now you know to arrive to your appointment with clean lashes and follow your after-care for long lasting lashes 😍
