While you're protecting your skin, remember that many sunscreens, especially sprays, can cause discoloration and build-up on your hair. 😱 Those sunny days can lead to unwanted yellow or orange tones in your extensions and even weaken the bonds.

Here's the scoop:

🖤Opt for mineral-based sunscreens (zinc oxide or titanium dioxide) whenever possible.
🖤Avoid spraying sunscreen directly onto your hair. Apply lotion sunscreens carefully, keeping them away from your hairline.
🖤If you must use a spray, shield your extensions with a towel or hat.
🖤Use a powder sunscreen or wear a hat to keep sun off your scalp.
