One of the most interesting Oregon Facts is that Beavers (the animal, not students at OSU)((although they are animals too)) are, by Oregon state statute, defined as a predator. In fact, I have been told (not verified!) Beavers are the ONLY vegetarian “predator.” They are also amazingly important for environmental reasons. Intrigued?
