Everyone, meet my incredible grandfather “Papa”. Today, he turns 95! This man is nothing short of amazing. He immigrated from Colombia legally, bringing his wife and four children to build a better life. He worked as a mechanic for McDonnell Douglas (before it became Boeing) and helped build the legendary C-17.

Papa was always there for me, driving an hour each way every other weekend just to spend time with me from the time I was 2 until I was 16. He’s been like a second father to me, and now he’s a great-grandfather to my daughter.

We are beyond blessed to have him in our lives. Cheers to 95 incredible years—may God continue to bless you, Papa! ❤️🎉
