It’s official!! These hands are ready to hug some faces in the atelier.✨👐✨

Every Thursday I’ll be crafting up facials in the signature Botnia style - completely customized with an array of whole plant botanicals suitable for all skin. Botnia’s treatment room workshop - the atelier - is located on the water in the heart of Sausalito, CA. This space is unlike anywhere or anything else - just like the skincare magic inside it. 🌱✨ It’s an honor to begin my esthetician/artist residency and continue my passion for skin and plant-based skincare in this special way.

To book a treatment with me at the atelier, head to botniaskincare.com or reach out to me with any questions! 🌈

It’s hard to believe it’s already been 6 months since packing up and moving to the Bay Area!

I haven’t spent as much time online since moving, but I find that in big moments like this I prefer to embrace change while spending time in nature and with family & community. These days you’ll find me in places like this 👆closing my eyes towards the sun, getting curious about local plants, or at home painting, cooking, picking fruit that’s growing wild in the neighborhood, making a playlist, or finding some way to be near the ocean. Soon you’ll find me somewhere extra special, especially if you’re in the Bay Area too ;) Stay tuned!

I never thought I would get to feel like an actual artist at work when I realized my dream of offering holistic facials. Thanks to , and anyone who has ever come to me for a facial, the artist I once tucked away for another day is now infused as a part of the work I feel so incredibly lucky to do. One word to describe how it feels to give these facials? Magical.

Also, fulfilling, inspiring, exciting,…what word comes to mind when you give a facial?

Au Repose (at rest)

Part 3 of a series of oil pastel paintings I started last year. Something I love about giving a facial is the opportunity to get to know my guests’ skin and appreciate its uniqueness and how incredible dynamic it is. Painting what I see in front of me on the treatment table gives me so much appreciation for how truly beautiful and unique our skin is. On one of my lovely guests and friend (above), a pregnancy mask mixture of kale, chamomile, oats, rose geranium and enzymes from 🌱🌱

Hope you are all getting rest in this rain, and feeling ready for a blooming spring.

Feeling many things this trip around the sun, but mostly excited. What better way to grow older than to experience new things, new place and new faces…🌞

Though it’s always hard to leave a home you love, I realized yesterday that ‘home’ is really more of a feeling. Moving and birthdays feel similar in the sense that you can’t help but reflect on the memories of the pervious year, but as you move into the next space of unknowing, you find things that make you feel at home.

As this next chapter of many new things begins for myself and my family, I am so thankful for the past, current moment and the future. I can’t wait to share what’s ahead and connect with you all in new ways. I’ll be back in the treatment room this week until the end of February!

I could write a love note every day to express how thankful I am for each and every one of you that has allowed me to be a part of your skincare journey in some way the past 6 years. Seeing you support yourself with skincare is endlessly inspiring. But most of all I hope you feel gratitude for yourself. I know it takes time, money, decision making, and a whole lot of trust to take another’s word on how to care for your skin. Thank you for for trusting me with your skin, for supporting my business that I love so much, for referring your family and friends, for those of you who bring yourself to a treatment with me as your way of self care, and for anyone following here. I hope you feel abundantly grateful today and during the holiday season ahead💛💛💛

From organic skincare to sustainable jewelry…

Introducing a collection of jewelry made from (you guessed it) bottles!

I have been so very excited to launch these special necklaces that were made in collaboration with the very talented LA-based jeweler . One of my core values as a holistic esthetician is to practice sustainability in every facet of my business, finding innovative ways to lessen the load on our planet and all of its inhabitants, and in the pursuit of creating something beautiful 🌎✨

After searching for an entire year for a local artist who shares that value to transform empty bottles into something new, my search finally led to who helped bring that vision to life. Founder Seulye Jo is an insanely talented creator and maker with an eye for beautiful design. What was once a glass container with Botnia botanicals has now been upcycled into a wearable, forever piece. From treatment to treasure.

Each of these one-of-a-kind necklaces in this limited collection was designed and sustainably handmade by CLED in their L.A. studio. The eco glass gems are handmade from these (above) clear frosted glass, blue glass, or white milk glass. Each necklace comes with a sterling silver chain and a pouch for safe storage.

Now available to order. Link in bio to learn more ✨✨✨
