I'm not trying to save the world. I'm completely unbothered by what's happening around me. Not because I'm ignoring reality, but because the chaos around me doesn't determine the peace within me. Everything else is in panic mode, but I'm at peace because I know who's in control.
There's a rest that God invites us into. He knows the end from the beginning, and we know that in the end, we win. That's why we can experience a peace that surpasses all understanding.
