Someone has to be the voice of reason, and I’m a mom of four teenagers so I guess it should be me…
There really is no moment in life where you should feel bamboozled out of time, money, and trust…
but when you settle for a stylist who can’t prove their education, or their skill, you aren’t being bamboozled, you’re agreeing to cheat yourself.
Here’s how to not cheat yourself:
• vet your stylist, like stalk their content, make sure they can produce a solid result more than three times.
• book a consultation with more than one stylist; don’t book an extension service with the first stylist you meet, book with the one that listens to your why’s, answers all your questions, and makes you feel like you’re in good hands
• book with a stylist that has a really organized and pretty salon space (and has some service policies in place) because typically a person that pays attention to tiny details pays attention to refining their skills.
Okay now what are you waiting for? Head to www.salonezer.com to book your consultation.
Not every stylist who says they do extensions are qualified to out extensions in your hair.
The truth is, our hair follicles weren’t made to hold more than one hair per follicle, so we’re defying nature by putting extensions in…
That doesn’t mean it shouldn’t be done and it doesn’t mean it can’t be done safely…
It means you should see a stylist that respects that truth and is trained on HOW to respect that truth.
Keratin bond extensions, when applied well, are weightless and safe to wear for 3-5 months.
But they MUST be density matched, they MUST have an appropriate amount of keratin, and they MUST be cared for properly.
If you’re a client that’s been looking for a stylist that can give you a better extension experience, send me a DM and let’s get you set up with a consultation.
I took a small Instagram sabbatical because it gets overwhelming to be drowned out by a synchronized voice of the same marketing dialogue.
On one hand, it’s great that so many of us are advancing our techniques and shouting it from the roof tops so you, the client, can stop over paying for mediocre (at best) hair services…
And of course we’re all speaking to our own regions, so it’s likely only redundant for me, and not for you.
On the other hand, I start to feel like being a part of this industry means lacking my own identity because marketing gurus say clients are expecting a certain “thing.”
I have always liked having a bit of my own thing, and I needed some time to see if my own thing even still included this industry.
Well, I’m still here to be the hands that Cottage Grove and surrounding towns can trust in their fine hair…
But I might smell like fresh baked bread.

They finally did it!
They finally came up with a way for us to shed those pounds almost overnight, and we didn’t have to order from some shameless late-night infomercial…
And they even promised it’s safer than safe with almost zero negative implications.
But while it might be true that the ingredients of said magical transformation may not lead to any unwanted side effects, 𝗿𝗮𝗽𝗶𝗱 𝘄𝗲𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗹𝗼𝘀𝘀 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀.
It’s called 𝘵𝘦𝘭𝘰𝘨𝘦𝘯 𝘦𝘧𝘧𝘭𝘶𝘷𝘪𝘶𝘮, and we see this after childbirth, and sometimes during chronic stress or illness.
I know it can feel traumatic. But just like your doctor promised your instantly transformed body, I can promise an instant boost to your confidence.
Schedule a consultation so we can discuss if you’re what type of extensions will be best for you.
Swipe to see how I turn these bonds into low density baby lights.
Could these bonds work for a client just the way they came from the factory?
Maybe…
But, the baby light blend I created is a thousand times better, is going to make my install easier because the color is going to blend seamlessly no matter what bond goes where, and let’s not dismiss the weight difference between the original bonds and the customized ones…
I took two bonds and turned them into 6-8 bonds, ensuring a safe install for someone who has fine, fragile hair by customizing the weight of each individual bond.
This will also ensure the most natural looking result, guaranteeing that no one will be able to tell she’s wearing extensions.
She’ll just finally have the volume she needs to allow her to wear the style she wants to wear with a color blend that’s only hers.
So I have this client who wears a dark, chin length bob, no highlights. She’s one of my awesome, gray-coverage clients, and I think I hooked her because I use 10-minute gray coverage that makes her hair shiny, healthy, and more supple… like even of I was as boring as a wet mop, she’d still come see me because her gray coverage and haircut happen in just an hour and 15 minutes instead of two hours….
Good news for you and her is I’m not actually boring.
Anyway, I digress… so you hear “chin length bob” and think to yourself “what the heck does this have to do with the extensions I see her making in this video?”
Because volume doesn’t discriminate any certain length and that means extensions are for everyone.
For these bonds, I first colored the hair to match perfectly with my client… using Megix10 obviously…
And then hand capsulated them to match her density.
Stay tuned for the before and after.
