Waxing while on certain treatments is risky because many medications like Accutane,retinol,acne creams or any other ones listed above can thin,sensitize or speed up skin cell turnover. Which this makes skin fragile and can leave to severe reactions such as skin lifting, burning,severe bruising or even scabbing instead of hair removal. Here are some of my recommendations i advise to stop using retinols for at least 5 to 7 days. For strong medications like Accutane, you should wait several months after stopping treatments.Alway consult with a doctor to determine when it is safe to wax again. I am here if anyone has any questions!
