Another black box color removal in the books!!!!!
I’m so happy with how this turned out! We did one round of permanent color remover, one round of lightener, and one bleach+shampoo wash to remove as much of the black box color as I could. With these steps I was able to reach her inspiration color without her hair breaking off + leaving it looking and feeling healthy and shiny!! Then we did a little gray coverage shadow root + blended into a mahogany brown!!! 😍
(Again lighting makes all the difference!! First 5 pics are in my studio with the ring light, then in the lobby area, and last one is outside nature light!!!)

This beauty came in with some good outgrowth, previous gray coverage color, and previous highlights on her mid-length/ends (not my work). For a softer grow out, we went with gray blending as apposed to gray full-coverage this time to see how she liked it! This will leave a less harsh line when growing out. And will also leave some natural dimension in the hair so the color has a more organic feel, thus creating a little less of the “OMG I NEED MY ROOTS DONE NOW!!” feeling!!!!

This beauty came in wanting to blend out her old highlights (not my work). She wanted a more cohesive look close to her natural color, without going completely solid all over, and keeping it low maintenance!!!

Foilayage + color correction

This beauty came in to blend out the outgrowth from previous darker color & get as close to her natural as possible, so the grow out will be softer!! We did a partial foilayage + all over color gloss + tone & I am OBSESSED!!! This will help us grow out the old color with a little softer transition!!! 🤩

Lighting is EVERYTHING when it comes to after pictures!!! It effects how hair color reads in person compared to in pictures!!! I feel like sometimes it’s so hard to get photos of what the hair actually looks like in person and do the results justice. Some of the pictures are reading warmer once I posted them. Not what it looks like on my phone or in person, but hopefully everyone can at least get an idea of how pretty this turned out!! ( I deleted and reposted to see if it was a fluke, but still showing warmer on here for some reason)
