As I’ve gained a few followers over the past couple of months I thought this would be a perfect time to reintroduce myself.

I’m Katie, a 28-year-old esthetician with 7 years experience in the skincare world. When I’m not working, I’m a proud boy mom, and wife. My journey into the holistic, non toxic space started in 2018 after struggling with anxiety, psoriasis, bad stomach issues that led to a year long trips to the ER without any answers —and let’s just say, the traditional healthcare system wasn’t exactly my friend. That’s when I started questioning what’s really going on with my body and learned (and continue to learn) holistic practices and remedies and learned how badly stress and high cortisol levels can affect everything.

Now, I’m all about helping others slow down, breathe, and take a moment for you. We don’t realize how much our soul (and our skin!) needs that pause without any pressure. My approach as an esthetician is meeting you where you are at, judgement free. I’m not going to shove products down your throat or bash you for the skincare you are currently using, if any at all, but take what you’ve told me and maybe tweak it into a way that works better for your unique skin.

Whether you’re here for glowing skin, deep relaxation, or just a safe space to be in the present moment, I’m beyond grateful to be part of your journey.

When starting Aura, I knew I wanted everything I did to be genuine and meaningful, and when coming up with the why I’m opening this business I always come back to the same answer: I felt I needed to provide a space and treatments where anyone can come to get glowing skin, but more importantly get a real moment to yourself. I know first hand how overwhelming and sometimes ruthless life can be and sometimes all you need is a minute to just sit and recharge in a safe space.
Clients who trust me to help them relax and recharge, and give them glowing skin are the reason I truly love what I do.
