One of my daughters told me her friend hasn’t been able to bring or have lunch at school. No kid deserves to go hungry. I didn’t shame or pass judgement. I decided to pack double because I am teaching my kids to be good people.💕

My parents used to tell me that I had to eat it and like it, and "this isn't a restaurant", but my stomach always hurt. They constantly talked about how I "don't like chicken". Am I ungrateful? Not sure. Mom's chicken:
