Our Story

Sopris Women's Clinic provides gynecology, primary care, obstetrical care and nurse midwifery to women in the Gunnison Valley. Our clinics serve women from puberty to post menopause. We provide prenatal and postpartum care as well. As an Advanced practice Nurse and Certified Nurse Midwife Lisa can help with your health care needs. She will also refer and collaborate with other providers as necessary.
In our clinic we perform annual exams, pap smears, breast checks, prescribe needed medications, prescribe hormone replacement therapy, prescribe and manage your preferred contraception. Perform STD testing, care, counseling and treatment. Insert and remove IUDs and Implanons, Perform infertility work-ups, pre-conception care and counseling, assist and refer for preventative cancer screenings such as mammograms, ultrasounds, and colonoscopy. We also offer primary care services for ear aches, sore throats, urinary tract infections, colds, flu, yeast infection and other issues.
