As we find ourselves weathering another hurricane, I wanted to take a moment to remind everyone to stay safe, stay prepared, and look out for one another.
Over the years, we’ve stayed here through Elena in 1985, Opal in 1995, Ivan in 2004, and Michael in 2018. Each storm brought its own challenges and left memories we’ll never forget.
Ivan was especially difficult for our family. Our roof caved in, and thankfully, because we were home, we were able to prevent our house from flooding. It’s an experience I would never want to relive, but one that taught me just how important preparation, faith, and community truly are.
If there’s one thing I’ve learned through all these storms, it’s that our community is incredibly strong, and we are always at our best when we come together. ❤️
Please know that resources and assistance may be available for anyone who needs them. If you don’t feel safe staying in your home, please consider a designated local shelter. Davidson Middle School is one location to check for shelter availability.
Most importantly, please don’t hesitate to reach out if you’re in need. We may not be able to do everything, but together we can certainly help one another.
Stay safe, love your neighbors, check on those around you, and remember that we are all in this together.

A Little Weather Update from Salon Surreal 🤍

With the possibility of severe weather/hurricane conditions affecting our area, we want to keep everyone’s safety our top priority.

As of today, all appointments will remain as scheduled. We’ll continue watching the weather closely and will make any necessary decisions tomorrow.

If conditions change and we feel it’s safest to cancel or reschedule appointments, we’ll reach out as soon as possible. And if you’re traveling from out of town or simply feel more comfortable changing your appointment now, please don’t hesitate to contact us. We completely understand and are happy to work with you.

Ayden has a passion for professional hair color, vivid and fashion colors, dimensional highlights, and women’s cuts and styling, She loves creating beautiful, customized looks that help each guest feel confident and comfortable in their own skin. ✨

We are so excited to watch her grow, learn, create, and build relationships with all of you. We know she is going to be a wonderful addition to our Salon Surreal family, and we hope you will help us give her a big WELCOME! 🥰
