Getting Sober from Alcohol is a journey I will always be on. I’ve been sober for a bit over a year now and it’s been overwhelming and life changing. There are times still where I really crave a drink and there are times where I recognize how much happier I am without it. It’s an ebb and flow of emotions and understanding. I’m still learning how to regulate and handle my emotions without alcohol, but I can tell you that my life is positively different.
You are NOT alone.
