My has worked as a stylist since 2006 and established My Hair Studio in 2017 with the aim of creating a comforting, inviting, and serene atmosphere for her clients to indulge in beauty services. With certifications in multiple smoothing systems and various extension methods, she consistently seeks further education by attending classes and workshops to stay abreast of the current trends and techniques in the industry. Owing to her diverse training and hands-on experience, My has cultivated a remarkable skill set enabling her to adeptly blend different methods to design exceptional hairstyles tailored to meet each client's unique desires. Alongside managing her salon and practicing full-time as a stylist, My is currently pursuing her bachelor's degree in clinical social work at CCSU. This simultaneous commitment demonstrates her passion for not only excelling in the beauty industry but also expanding her expertise and contributing to the field of social work.

Did you notice we don’t pick up phone calls?
We prefer a text messaging or do it yourself booking.
You might notice we may not answer phone calls during the day... and that’s intentional.
With no receptionist, we choose to stay fully present with the clients in our chairs, not half-way through colouring and a ringing phone.
Texting means:
* We can reply whenever we have a chance
* We prefer text because everything is in writing (times, quotes, availability, details and you can send inspo pictures or your current hair )
* Virtual consultation can be done by text- we can’t visualize your hair with a phone call
Online booking means:
* You can book your appointment online at midnight if thats when you get the chance
* You can chose any date and time that fits your schedule best
* You can put yourself on waitlist and we will reach out to you
Best of all, with either options your appointment time stays uninterrupted
