I/Scream hopes to establish a *safe party space for lesbians/femmes/queer women of color and the beautiful folks that love them. Rumor has it black and brown femmes have been leading the revolution on solidarity and providing strategies for loving ourselves and each other all while rocking colorful lips, twists, fros and slaying edges. This monthly queer dance party exist to put the rumors to rest, rejecting the notion of assimilation and accepting our raw beauty - be it rachet or refined. This is a celebration to remind us of our power with each twerk, sip and hair flip.
