I may have spent 2025 in the shadows, but I made more money than I’ve ever made in an established commission salon, I stood up to every adult bully who threatened or tried to leverage my success, I soothed my nervous system, bought a new car, and I go to and leave work happy each day.

2026 might be a new year, but I’m the same me. 😎

I was fortunate enough to be raised in a family full of givers. Despite having five children of their own, my parents never hesitated to choose an angel from the tree at church, or fill grocery bags when the Girl Scouts came door-to-door collecting non-perishable food items throughout the holiday season. 🎄

Over the past four weeks, my coworkers and I hosted a food drive in the salon. Today we were able to donate over 200 food items to the Food Bank of Northwest Indiana. 🥹

To say I’m grateful just isn’t enough. I’m absolutely beaming with pride to be surrounded by and associated with so many people are the embodiment of kindness and generosity. 💖 You deserve to be recognized!
