Luxury spa reviews are some of my favorite experiences, not because I’m looking for perfection, but because I’m always searching for wellness destinations truly worth recommending to my clients.

Recently, I visited Chuan Spa at The Langham Chicago, and overall, it was a lovely experience.

From the moment I arrived, the service was gracious, professional, and welcoming. The facilities are beautifully designed, featuring a stunning indoor pool, heated stone loungers, thermal experiences, and elegant relaxation spaces that create a sophisticated urban retreat.

The highlight of my visit was, without question, the massage. My therapist was exceptional, attentive, intuitive, and incredibly skilled. It was one of the best massages I’ve had and exactly what my body needed.

The only area where the experience fell short for me was the size of the wellness facilities. During my visit, the thermal areas were quite busy, making it difficult to enjoy the peaceful, unhurried atmosphere I expect from a luxury spa at this price point. While the facilities are beautiful, they simply didn’t feel spacious enough to comfortably accommodate the number of guests.

🌟Worth the Journey? 6/10

For the massage? Absolutely. One of the best I’ve experienced.

For the full wellness escape? Not quite. The beautiful surroundings and exceptional service were overshadowed by the crowded thermal facilities, making it difficult to fully embrace the sense of tranquility I look for in a luxury spa experience.
