This weekend was hard.

We went into Yellow Daisy with big expectations, and it simply didn’t unfold the way we hoped. The crowds were lighter, sales were nowhere near our goal, the weather fought us, and then our transmission blew on the way home.

But over and over again, two words kept showing up:

BUT GOD.

The setup was probably our most stressful to date.

But God… we had gorgeous shade and slightly cooler weather while we worked through it.

Saturday was a monsoon.

But God… our neighboring vendors jumped in and helped us move things out of the downpour.

Our rental was approximately the size of a postage stamp. 😂

But God… the AC was cold, the water was hot, and we had a safe place to rest.

We tried a different trailer load-up and quickly realized everything wasn’t going to fit.

But God… a neighboring vendor had been looking for a larger canopy and bought our brand-new one just hours before we packed up.

Then our transmission blew on the drive home.

But God… we were able to get off the highway and into a hotel parking lot before the truck completely shut down.

Not the side of the interstate.
Not in traffic.
A safe parking lot.

Sometimes God’s provision doesn’t look like everything going according to plan.

Sometimes it looks like shade.
Helping hands.
Cold AC.
Hot water.
Perfect timing.
And protection.

We didn’t have the weekend we expected.

But we were protected.
We were helped.
We were provided for.
We made it through.

It was hard.
BUT GOD. 🤍

Here’s the thing…

MOOey MOOey is a small business. A REALLY small business. We don’t have a marketing department, graphic designer, copywriter, photographer, social media team and creative director sitting down the hall.

We have us.

And we’d rather spend our time rendering tallow, whipping jars, filling tubes, labeling products, packing orders, talking to customers and creating products we’re proud to put our name on.

So yes — we use AI.

We use it to brainstorm.
We use it to help create graphics.
We use it for marketing ideas.
We use it to help write content.
We use it to turn the ideas in our heads into something we can actually use.

What we DON’T use it for?

Making your skincare.

There’s no AI rendering our tallow.
No robot whipping your jar.
No computer filling your lip balm.
No prompt packing your order.

That’s still us. ❤️

We don’t use AI to replace the handmade part of MOOey.

We use it to protect the time we need for the handmade part.

Because small businesses have always used the tools available to them to compete with the big guys.

This just happens to be one of ours.

Artificial intelligence.
Actual tallow.
Real people.
Small batches. 🐄

And apparently… occasionally a Sharpie. 😂
