Memorial Day is not about war. It is about absence.

Freedom was not simply earned in history books. It was paid for in futures interrupted, names carved into stone, and families forever changed.

Memorial Day asks us for one thing:

After our bible study tonight one of our laypastor cowboys climbed aboard "bucky" our longtime resident bucking horse to teach us about saddle bronc riding.(thx to David and Susan for providing the bucking stock) ...its Cowboy Church where we worship, study, and have a good time in the Lord.

Tomorrow night is Christmas Eve and yes we are having church so be with us...hotdogs on the menu...and the Christmas Story... God certainly blesses...
